Test Administration

    We support the following ACT test forms: 0964E, 0661C, 1267C, 1460E, 0359F, 1165D, 1467F, 1572CPRE, 1874FPRE and more.

  • looks_twoHow do we get a test?

    Please write to us and we will help.

    You can order tests from ACT by using this form or you can use the “Preparing for ACT” booklet which comes with the test 1572CPRE.

    If you are looking to administer PLAN or EXPLORE tests to your Freshmen or Middle school students, please write to us.

  • looks_3Which answer sheet should we use?

    You can use the answer sheet from the test booklet or write to us and we will send you a copy of the answer sheet we recommend.

    If you are looking for a PreACT, PSAT 8/9, PLAN or EXPLORE answer sheet, please write to us.

  • looks_4When is the best time to test students?

    If you are in a state where all Juniors are administered the state test in Spring, then you should test Sophomores on that day.

    If you are unable to test Sophomores on the day Junior take the state test then you should test at the beginning of the school year or towards the end of the Fall semester.

    Either of these approachs will give you sufficient time to review results with your students and develop a plan to incorporate the findings into your schedule.

    The analysis is priced on a per student basis. We will be happy to match a competitors price if you are looking to switch providers.

    You should compare our price to what other providers charge for analysis ($7 to $10), purchase of books ($10 to $20 per book) and purchase of teaching materials ($50 to $100 per teacher).

    The student report provides information on the top three improvement areas in English, Math, Reading, and Science.

    Prescription for 1, 3, and 5 composite point improvements on the ACT and PreACT

    Prescription for 100, 200, and 300 point improvements on the SAT, PSAT, and PSAT 8/9

    Information for goal setting discussion with students.

  • looks_3What information is available in the school/grade level report?

    The grade level report provides information on the top three improvement areas for each of the four tests: English, Math, Reading and Science.

    The top three improvement areas can be used by the individual departments to develop an instruction plan to help students master the content.

    The 1, 3 and 5 composite point improvement prescription allows schools to structure their 1 month, 3 month and 6 month improvement programs.

    The Excel Report - top three improvement areas - is used by some schools to structure differentiated instruction within a classroom. MTSS programs mandated by state department of education, and bootcamps.

Online Content

  • looks_oneDoes every student get access to online content?

    Yes, based on student results we personalize online content. The focus areas are determined based on the top three improvement areas identified by the analysis.

  • looks_twoHow much practice content is available online?

    The online content has questions from 5 full length ACT practice material.

    The top three improvement areas for a typical student will involve practicing about 300 to 350 questions.

    Once a student has practiced the top three improvement areas, he/she can identify the fourth and fifth improvement area from their report (pareto chart) and work on those areas from the online database.

  • looks_3How long is the student access valid?

    Students typically get access to online content for one year but in some cases they get access to content for longer.

How to help students use the online program?

  • looks_oneConfigure your roster

    The first step to helping students work on the program would be for you to configure a roster. You can do that from your teacher home page by going to Admin -> Manage Roster -> You will find a green action button to create a roster and populate it with students using their login ID information.

  • looks_twoFinalize your approach

    Select one of the following approach

    • Ask students to work on x number of questions in a sub-test e.g., English y days a week
    • Ask students to work on the predetermined top three focus areas starting with e.g. Math and have them complete the top three areas in y days

    You can develop your unique approach and our real time reports can help you succeed.

  • looks_3Real time reports

    Use pre-built real time reports to track student's progress for each of the approaches listed in step two.

    From your teacher login go to the Reports menu

    • Run the daily usage report for a date range. You will see the number of questions attempted, the number of questions answered correctly, and the time spent attempting these questions.
    • Run focus area proficiency report to understand % of content that has been completed, proficiency in each of the topics, total number of questions attempted, time spent etc.

    The holy grail document lists the sub topics/content areas that make up each pareto topic. For each sub-topic, you will find question number and page number pair. These pairs correspond to the questions that align with the pareto topic. See below
